We are pleased to advise that all domestic electrical installation work carried out under Part P of the Electrical Regulations notified after 1 April 2006 is covered by a comprehensive warranty. This insurance-backed warranty is brokered by NICEIC Insurance Services and underwritten by Hi Company Ltd, part of the Hiscox Group.

All domestic electrical installation work undertaken will be covered by an insurance-backed warranty, irrespective of the value of that work, up to a maximum of £25,000.00.

All electrical installation work carried out by Bright Sparks is covered for a period of six years from the completion of the work. The purpose of this warranty is to protect you should any work undertaken not comply with the Building Regulations and in the unlikely event that we are no longer in business and so unable to undertake the necessary remedial work.

The warranty applies to:

• Completed electrical installations and associated work for which a Building Regulations Compliance Certificate has been issued.
• The safety and standard of workmanship of the electrical installation that is the subject of complaint by the person ordering the electrical installation work or the current owner of the installation.
• Work that was completed within six years from the date recorded on the compliance Certificate, subject to an excess of £50 of any claim
• The financial limit placed on the remedial work is: £25,000.00
